JOB SUMMARY
Under the administrative and clinical supervision of the Director of Lorain Programs, the Lorain In-Home Behavioral Therapy (IHBT) Supervisor is responsible for providing clinical and administrative supervision and training to assigned staff members.

- Education: Minimum Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field required.
- Licensure: Valid Ohio LISW or LPCC required. LISW-S or LPCC-S preferred. LICDC or scope of practice includes substance abuse treatment.

- Experience: Experience in working with children, adolescents and their families. Demonstrated clinical experience in chemical dependency treatment.
- Other: Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets the underwriting criteria of the Agency’s insurance company. Must have reliable transportation.

JOB SUMMARY
Under the administrative and clinical supervision of the Director of Lorain Programs, the Lorain In-Home Behavioral Therapy (IHBT) Supervisor is responsible for providing clinical and administrative supervision and training to assigned staff members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Provide administrative supervision to the program and staff including, but not limited to, hiring, supervision, evaluation, disciplinary actions and termination of employees.
- Provide clinical supervision to IHBT clinicians and interns and other staff as directed.
- Provide weekly individual supervision to assigned staff and participate in consultation and group supervision as needed.
- Provide staff training to adopt the necessary engagement and clinical skills to implement the IHBT model.
- Provide staff training programs to provide necessary skills to implement the Lorain Counseling Program.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
- Maintain adherence to fidelity of the IHBT program model.
- Develop a collaborative working relationship with the Lorain County Network of 4-C, Mental Health providers, Children’s Services, Court & Substance Abuse Services and facilitate coordination of care for clients within these entities.
- Complete data and participate in research activities in a timely manner to provide for the evaluation of the program’s effectiveness and consumer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with community partners to acquire referrals for program.
- Work with supervisees to ensure maximum productivity according to department standards, provide coaching and directives as well as take disciplinary steps if needed.
- Carry a caseload as necessary.
- Provide 24/7 backup to clients if clinicians are unavailable or not reachable.
- Provide 24/7 consultation to clinicians/staff as needed.
OTHER DUTIES
- Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training.
- All required trainings, certifications and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
- Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the client’s treatment. All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.
- Assure that Lorain staff maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures.
- Supervise, when assigned, Masters level interns and adhere to graduate programs intern requirements.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
