JOB SUMMARY: The Residential Healthcare Administrative Assistant provides administrative, clerical, and practical support for all healthcare efforts within the Residential Treatment Units, including but not limited to the Intensive Treatment Units (ITUs), Monarch Boarding Academy (MBA), and Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) programs. This position reports directly to the Nurse Administrator.

JOB SUMMARY: The Residential Healthcare Administrative Assistant provides administrative, clerical, and practical support for all healthcare efforts within the Residential Treatment Units, including but not limited to the Intensive Treatment Units (ITUs), Monarch Boarding Academy (MBA), and Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) programs. This position reports directly to the Nurse Administrator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Provide support to Office of Healthcare Coordination department including, but not limited to, maintaining files, scanning documentation, answering the phone as necessary, appointment scheduling, obtaining prior authorizations, and ordering and maintaining medical/office supplies.
- Assist with the communication between healthcare and interdisciplinary teams.
- Review and answer correspondences regarding medical care for patients receiving residential treatment.
- Create processes and maintain records for reporting, tracking, and compliance needs, including collection, input and reporting of data and other tracking/organizational duties as assigned.
- Assist with staff onboarding, training and other departmental initiatives.
- Ensure that all regulatory standards are maintained per Agency policies.
- Participate in Quality Improvement Projects as indicated.
OTHER DUTIES:
- Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training.
- All required training, certifications and licensures must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
- Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the client’s treatment. All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.
- Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Minimum High School Diploma required.
- Licensure: Not required.

- Experience: Experience in healthcare and previous strong interdisciplinary engagement and/or management experience preferred.
