Position Summary:
We are hiring a Clinical Supervisor for our Mobile Response Stabilization Service (MRSS) team to serve youth (age 2-20). Housed downtown for timely response, MRSS serves youth and families who call the crisis hotline with a family identified emergency. As the Clinical Supervisor, you will provide guidance, instruction, and direct supervision to the MRSS Licensed Crisis Therapists, Qualified Mental Health Specialists, and Peer Support Professionals, and interns who assess youth and families in crisis situations. The clinical supervisor will provide oversight of the daily operations of the program, including review and approval of crisis assessments and safety plans. Hours require flexibility- may include evening, weekend, and on-call times.
Responsibilities Include:
Provide administrative and clinical supervision to the program and staff including, but not limited to, hiring, supervision, evaluation, disciplinary actions and termination of employees.
Facilitate the implementation of clinical planning for clients, including assessment and disposition
Assure all documents are up to date, including but not limited to: Crisis Assessment, CANS assessment, Safety Plans, MRSS plans, Intake and discharge forms
Communicating effectively with a variety of audiences including government, educational, legal, and direct consumers and their families
As needed, provide mental health assessments to identified youth, create safety plans with youth/families, and provide linkages to appropriate mental health services
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in social work or counseling with an LISW/LISW-S, LPCC/LPCC-S, IMFT/IMFT Supervisor. First Aid and CPR training required and provided by agency.
Experience in mental health practice including management of high-risk cases, preferably with children, adolescents and their families.
A valid driver's license, vehicle and auto insurance coverage.
Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to work cooperatively as a team as well as independently, experience working with electronic medical records.
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations with complex psychiatric needs.
Ability to work nontraditional hours and/or in an on-call capacity
