Your Role:

  • Create and implement engaging programs that nurture children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Build strong, professional relationships with children and their families.
  • Maintain a safe, stimulating, and organized classroom environment.
  • Adhere to all licensing, CACFP, and accreditation standards.
  • Provide attentive care, including hygiene assistance and meal support.
  • Provide parent teacher conferences.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff.
  • Supervise and mentor volunteers and student teachers.
  • Follow all opening and closing procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood or related field (preferred) or CDA.
  • Sensitivity and ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Enthusiasm for early childhood education and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of caring for young children.

Hours: 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday.
