SUMMARY:

Under the administrative and clinical supervision of the Director of Lorain Programs, the BHJJ Supervisor for Lorain In-Home is responsible for providing clinical and administrative supervision and training to assigned staff members for BHJJ Grant-Supported Activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  1. Provide administrative supervision to the program and staff including, but not limited to, hiring, supervision, evaluation, disciplinary actions and termination of employees.
  2. Provide clinical supervision to ICT and IOP clinicians and interns and other staff as directed.
  3. Provide weekly individual supervision to assigned staff and participate in consultation and group supervision as needed.
  4. Provide staff training to adopt the necessary engagement and clinical skills to implement the ICT model.
  5. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
  6. Maintain adherence to fidelity of the ICT program model.
  7. Develop a collaborative working relationship with the Lorain County Network of 4-C, Mental Health providers, Children’s Services, Court & Substance Abuse Services and facilitate coordination of care for clients within these entities.
  8. Provide community education and advocacy to promote ICT & Substance Abuse Treatment in order to grow and sustain the program.
  9. Complete data and participate in research activities in a timely manner to provide for the evaluation of the program’s effectiveness and consumer satisfaction.
  10. Collaborate with community partners to acquire referrals for program.
  11. Work with supervisees to ensure maximum productivity according to department standards, provide coaching and directives as well as take disciplinary steps if needed.
  12. Carry up to a 50% caseload as necessary.

OTHER DUTIES:
  1. Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training.
  2. All required trainings, certifications and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
  3. Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the client’s treatment.  All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.
  4. Assure that Lorain staff maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures.
  5. Supervise, when assigned, Masters level interns and adhere to graduate programs intern requirements.
  6. Other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Education: Minimum Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field.
  2. Licensure: Valid Ohio LISW or LPCC required. LISW-S or LPCC-S preferred. LICDC or scope of practice includes substance abuse treatment.
  3. Competency/Skills:

    8. Service Orientation: Anticipate, recognize, and meet the needs of others, whether they are clients or not.
    9. Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate competence in utilizing Agency computer systems and software as required to perform essential job functions.
  4. Experience: Experience in working with children, adolescents and their families.  Demonstrated clinical experience in chemical dependency treatment.
  5. Other: Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets the underwriting criteria of the Agency’s insurance company.  Must have reliable transportation.
