Position Summary:

We are currently hiring an Intensive Home Based (IHBT) Supervisor to provide oversight and clinical supervision for intensive home based therapeutic work with families who have significant needs in a variety of domains and who are in need of significant supports to maintain their ability to remain in their homes and with their families.  In this role, you would receive specialized certifications in trauma modalities.  As the IHBT Supervisor, your schedule will offer great flexibility, and does include a need for evening or weekend hours in order to provide services to families when they are available.  The IHBT Supervisor will provide programmatic oversight in conjunction with the Program Director as well as clinical supervision to program therapists.  The IHBT Supervisor will also carry a small caseload and provide individual and family therapy with a special focus on trauma work as well as provide care coordination with any other systems or agencies involved in the family’s care.  The base salary of $70,000 is augmented by a sign on bonus and quarterly productivity bonuses.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Supervisory and Administrative duties.
  • Intensive therapeutic and trauma focused services to families in their homes or in the community.
  • Completion of psychiatric diagnostic assessment and treatment planning.
  • Being mobile and flexible with time in order to meet with clients and their families for 3-5 hours per week.
  • Carry a small caseload of up to 3 clients/families at a time and provide case coverage for Therapists during vacation/sick time away.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
  • Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the client’s treatment according to HIPPA guidelines. All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree  
  • LISW, LPCC, IMFT required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with youth and families in a mental health setting. Knowledge of the DSM-5 and diagnostic criteria.
  • Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
  • Sensitivity in relating to persons of varying backgrounds and demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups of people possessing various strengths, aptitudes, and abilities.
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Practical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • First Aid and CPR training required and provided by agency
